Berjaya Times Square During Chinese New Year
The Lion dance is a symbol of good fortune and is very much a part of the Chinese New Year celebration around the world. Whether young or old, Malaysians have always been fascinated by the lion dance. During the lunar year, Berjaya Times Square brings to life a mammoth size lion. Standing at a gigantic 20 feet tall, shoppers will finally get the chance to get up close to the lion. Coupled with a revolving Mandarin Orange which symbolises 'gold' inside its mouth, the giant lion waits to greet shoppers with good fortune and joy.

Draping down from the ceiling, an eight auspicious vertical 'flower banner' adds to the grandeur of this massive Chinese New Year decoration and is indeed a sight to behold.
The stage at the Lower Ground is also decorated to welcome the lunar year in great splendour. You will also see two lovable mice amongst a heap of gold ingots to herald the arrival of the lunar year.
As the largest mall in Malaysia, Berjaya Times Square wants to bring shoppers something big, a "wow" experience the minute they step into the mall.
