Restoran Nyonya Suan In Malacca
Restoran Nyonya Suan is the best place for Malacca's Nyonya food. I have tried several places such as Ole Sayang in Melaka Raya but to me Restoran Nyonya Suan is still my choice. Is near Plaza Mahkota. For those who doesn't know where is Plaza Mahkota located, just remember that if you can find Hotel Seri Costa you will able to find this place. Or is just opposite of Holiday Inn Malacca or under the flyover of Holiday Inn Malacca and Mahkota Hotel Malacca. Great entrance statement remind us of the older days in Malacca during our grandparents's time. Welcome.
Cosy, spacious and clean. You will enjoy dining here. Tips- If they offer you tidbits (Rm 4) and cold towel-small (Rm 0.30 per handkerchief towel), just tell them you don't need them. You will save at least Rm 5 which you can adjourned after your lunch/dinner here to Nadeje Cafe which is just few doors away. Please refer my Nadeje Cafe blog which I have posted yesterday. They charged us the extra Rm 4 without realising that we have declined the tidbits (peanuts) initially. Therefore check your bill before you pay!
Ayam Pongteh- Rm 9. Is a must order if you are here. The chicken is fresh and soft and the taste is excellent. Mix gravy to the rice and you won't regret it.
Nyonya Chap Chai- Rm 8. The vege is fresh and taste good.
Otak-Otak Ikan- Rm 10. You must try this! One of the best otak-otak in Malacca.
Cendol Kacang Merah- Rm 2. This cendol is ok and quite nice. The taste is a bit difference from other Malacca cendol. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are in Malacca the next time for your holiday trip. Hope this blog give you some ideas and tips to plan for your coming Holiday trips in Malacca.
